We’ve already shared what we know about the new season so far – suffice to say Nidge is back and meaner than ever, while Fran is becoming even more of a threat.

Appearing on the Late Late Show tonight, Tom Vaughan Lawlor (who plays Nidge) didn’t drop any hints about the new season, but said Nidge has gone on “an incredible journey” over the course of the show.
He says there’s no talk of a sixth season yet – we’ll have to wait and see.
The recently-released trailer has certainly done its part to rack up the tension – it features plenty of balaclavas, guns and Fran looking extremely dodgy (when does he not look dodgy, we hear you cry).
